The wood is one of the two resources in game along with the leather.
Obtaining
It can be obtained by simply going near a tree (with a tree icon) and chop it with the axe by using either the Action button or the Attack button
Trivia
- The player will always spawn infront a tree when the match starts
- The lumberjack axe can chop trees faster
