There are two main characters within The Darwin Project:
Inmates
The main playable characters for when fighting in the arena (Male and Female) - Armed with a Bow and Arrow and an Axe by default. Inmates have a customizable craft wheel used to choose your load out depending on your play style.
Show Director
Each match can have a Show Director whose role is different than the 10 contestants. Overseeing the arena aboard a drone, the Show Director exists to pump up the entertainment for players and viewers by unleashing powers like zone restriction, gravity storm, and more.
